Base yourself in Mérida for colonial streets, great food and nearby Maya sites, or in Progreso for the beach. Rent a car or book a transfer for the 45-minute run from the airport. Local ticket prices are very low for a professional series, so this is an easy add-on to a Yucatán vacation.
