Water and payment: the 2025 race had free hydration stations inside the venue and was fully cashless, using a preloaded Digicash card. The 2026 payment system hasn’t been confirmed, so check the official site before race week.

Protect Your Hearing

Reusable earplugs beside a clear carrying case
Reusable earplugs cost little and protect your hearing all weekend.

NIOSH, the US government’s workplace-safety agency, sets the safe exposure limit at 85 dBA over 8 hours. Every 3 dBA more halves the safe time: 94 dBA for about 1 hour, and 100 dBA for just 15 minutes. A NIOSH study measured 96–104 dBA in stock car grandstands, with peaks of 120–150 dB. That means NASCAR Mexico fans need protection all day. Today’s F1 cars are quieter than older engines, but pit lane, support races and the crowd still add up. Foam or reusable earplugs are enough for most adults. Kids should wear over-ear muffs.
