What We Publish
Race.mx covers motorsport in Mexico in English: race calendars and event details, venue guides, historical results, driver profiles, and practical travel guidance for fans coming from abroad. We write for people planning a trip or following a series from outside Mexico.
How a Fact Gets on the Site
- Primary sources first. Dates, schedules, entry rules and results come from the organizer: Formula 1, SCORE International, NASCAR México, Formula E, the circuits themselves, or Mexican government sources for travel rules.
- Two-source rule. If no official source has published something, we need two independent reputable outlets before it goes on the site.
- Nothing gets rounded into confidence. Where sources disagree, we give the range and say who says what. Where nothing is published, the page says “not announced”.
- Dated. Each page carries the month its facts were verified, so you can judge how fresh it is.
Where Numbers Come From
- Results and times: official timing and results from the series.
- Track lengths and layouts: official circuit figures, with maps traced from OpenStreetMap data. Where our measurement differs from the published figure, the caption says by how much.
- Prices: official ticket sellers and published tariffs. Travel costs that move (flights, hotels) are presented as ranges or as editable estimates, never as quotes.
- Safety and entry rules: the US State Department, Mexican immigration (INM), Banjercito and the CDC.
How This Site Is Produced
Race.mx is a small independent publication. Research and drafting are assisted by AI tools, and every published fact is checked against the sources listed on the page before it goes live. Automated routines check for new results and schedule changes daily and weekly, but they follow the same sourcing rules, and anything unverified is left off.
