What is the San Felipe start/finish?
San Felipe is a fishing and tourism town on the Sea of Cortez that hosts the opening round of the SCORE World Desert Championship each spring. Like Ensenada, there is no permanent racetrack: the course is laid out across public desert each year, and the town centre becomes the paddock. The Malecon in San Felipe is the focus of the weekend; SCORE’s 2026 race report places the winners’ celebration there.
