Día de Muertos in Mexico City

Expect marigold (cempasúchil) decorations, papel picado, sugar skulls and elaborate ofrendas (altars) in plazas, markets and homes. It is a celebration, but also a family tradition, so be respectful when photographing altars and cemetery gatherings.
